You can tell XP to not fit the image like that, or use a program to resize it the way you want, without it being so stretched looking. If
you can't or don't know how to either one of those, let me know and I'll show you do it for you Great pic anyway though! I'dbe happy if I could put it on my monitor. *glances around* too many prying eyes and kids around though.
Okay, firstly, if the image size is only a little off, and you don't want windows resizing it.
Right click on the Desktop, select Properties from the drop down menu, select the Desktop Tab at the top of the settins window. Somewhere in the lower right will be a Drop menu to select whether to Stretch to Fit, (which is what yours is doing) to Center it, (which is what you want) or to tile it. Which just repeats the image to fill the screen. So just tell it to center.
Voila.
Now, if you don't want a border surrounding it, you need to resize the image, depending on your screen resolution. Typically, 25 inch monitor runs at 800x600 and a 17 inch monitor runs at 1024x768
If you dont have an image editing program, no problem. Windows paint can do it. Under the Image menu, select stretch, and then add a percentage. This makes it a guess and check way to do it, because you'll have to mess around to get the pixel numbers right. And the quality is lower than with say, Photoshop or PaintPro or other programs like that.
Third Option, send me a note, and I'll resize the file for you.
If I blabbed on about anything you already knew, I apologize, I find it best to be over detailed than under detailed usually.
Meeps! It's uber kyoote no matter what. ^_~ BTW - after 3 whole days of searching and *counts on fingers* about 24 hours worth of fussing through my pics and looking at different ideas, etc. I FINALLY decided on the pose and such for your yummy yuri squishies for Reessa and Triss picture. So, goddess willing and stress levels not being what they are - I should have the yuri pic of them done for you in... maybe 2 days from now??? *worries and frets* Yeah - I better get to it now.

If you'd like to comment on the picture itself and keep a copy away from the kiddies (I know - my koi has a 7 yr. old son and I'm all like - NO! You can't see that! At least not yet anyway. Well... maybe not for this particular pic - he's smart enough to know that everyone's nude under their clothes, etc. and he's got 2 mommies... yeah yeah - you get the general idea. *lol* ) but, here's the link to it at my DA page.

Now it's time for August 2008 Visual Art Features, many new art to discover!
Don't forget that many artists need to be viewed, they deserve it! Fave Fave Fave! My main purpose in doing a monthly feature about (to my point of view) 'the best visual art' is to put in the same level as well wellknown artists and popular creations as unknown artists and under-exposed creations. Artists need to be supported. So don't be shy!
Here's the Menu per Category :
Digital Paintings & Drawings | Mixed Media | PhotoManipulations | 3-Dimensional | Vector & Vexels | Photography | Traditional Paintings & Drawings | Artisan Crafts
With a gallery that takes you on a journey into another world, `spyroteknik has firmly secured a place as one of the top artists within our community. Always willing to participate in events as well as providing critique and guidance to members in such a humble yet inspiring manner is a quality which deserves recognition. So it's with great pleasure that we award this month's Deviousness to Martin Bland. Read More
